Roy Rogers Returns: First Philly-Area Location in Decades

Roy Rogers Returns: Western-Style Chain Opens First Philly-Area Location in Decades

Roy Rogers is making a comeback in the Greater Philadelphia region, opening a new restaurant in Cherry Hill this Wednesday—the chain’s first local outpost since the 1990s.

Once a popular name in Western-themed dining, Roy Rogers has scaled back significantly in recent decades, with only a few dozen locations still in operation. However, in recent years the brand has reignited its growth strategy, focusing first on strengthening its Mid-Atlantic footprint before expanding into new territories.

Known for its signature “Triple Threat” menu—featuring roast beef sandwiches, fried chicken, and burgers—Roy Rogers also brings back its beloved “Fixin’s Bar,” where guests can customize their meals with toppings and condiments of their choice.
